Over the past few weeks, more and more hints on GTA 5 coming to the PC and the next-gen consoles have surfaced on the internet. It appears that many online retailers are beginning to take in pre-orders for the 2013 game of the year citing that it will soon be released.
The latest to be spotted is over at Worten which is taking pre-orders for the PS4 version of the game. Simultaneously, SuperGamer Czech is doing something similar but they went as far as putting up the Xbox One and PC version as well. Both websites revealed the release date to be on the 13th June this year.
Then there is the German website, GK4.me, who is selling Steam Keys for the GTA 5. Unlike those on Worten and SuperGamer Czech, the Steam keys have been on sale for the three weeks now. The worrying thing is that when demands are high, the scammers will tend to take advantage of these situations.
While it might sound fishy since nothing official has been announced by Rockstar, such a thing makes sense. It could be that Rockstar delayed the PC release due to the platform having a performance similar to the next-gen consoles. Both the Xbox One and PS4 offers high-spec gaming experience and with the PC tagging along, it made things easier for Rockstar to produce GTA 5 for these platforms.
Nevertheless, this is still a rumour and best to be taken lightly. Fans should wait at least until more information gets revealed by Rockstar instead of rushing to place their orders. This is to avoid unwanted circumstances where fans get duped by these websites.
