Last September saw Apple releasing the latest Apple iPhone 6 and it caused a huge dilemma for iPhone 5S users as they are unsure on whether they should perform an upgrade or not. Well, to know for sure, one needs to compare the major differences between both devices.
In terms of price, the iPhone 6 is about £100 more than the iPhone 5S. The biggest difference is obviously with the size. The iPhone 6 is larger as it comes with a bigger 4.7” display. The iPhone 5S, on the other hand, has a 4” screen. Since both displays have Retina technology, their pixel density is equal to each other.
When it comes to performance, the iPhone 6 runs on the newer processor and benchmark tests revealed that the device is 2.5 times more powerful than the iPhone 5S. There isn’t a big difference between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5S in the field of photography as they both comes with the same 8MP rear camera. Of course, the one on the iPhone 6 is better as it has been more refined.
Unfortunately for the iPhone 6, it cannot last as long as the iPhone 5S, even when it has a larger battery pack. With that being said, it seems that the differences are not so huge after all and it is best for the iPhone 5S users to only upgrade with the upcoming iPhone 7.
