Minecraft on the PS4 and PS3 has finally received an update and it gives players a sigh of relief. After all, it has been a long while since Minecraft on the Sony consoles got updated and the players were beginning to worry about it.
Then again, the new Minecraft patch that was rolled out yesterday by 4J Studio failed to introduce any new content. Instead, the update allows Minecraft to be compatible with the new batch of payable DLCs that is now available on the market.
There are two new DLCs that can be purchased by Minecraft players on the PS4 and PS3 now and they are the Skyrim Mash-Up Pack and the Steampunk Texture Pack.
The former basically adds in the world of Skyrim into Minecraft while the latter basically introduces new textures that are inspired by the Victorian era industrial revolution. Also, the DLCs are priced at $5.99 and $1.54 respectively.
In conjunction with the update, 4J Studio also took the opportunity to share that more contents will be added to Minecraft on the PS4 and PS3. Unfortunately, the game developer failed to highlight on when they will look to arrive.
