Late last year, Ford launched the second-generation Edge and just like its predecessor, the SUV came out with a thoroughly appealing design. In addition to that, the Ford Edge is also equipped with the latest automotive technology around.
Ford certainly delivered its words as the second-gen Ford Edge features adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering system, collision warning with brake suppot, active park assist, glove box mounted air bag system, hands free liftgate, 180-degree front camera with washer and inflatable rear safety belts.
The most outstanding feature with the Edge is with its suspensions. Apparently, the new set of suspensions is made to absorb shocks better while also preventing road noise from entering the cabin. This basically ensures that the Edge can handle well and being comforting at the same time.
Of course, some things remain the same for the new Edge like how it is offered with 4 different trims. They are SE, SEL, Sport and Titanium. In conjunction to that, Ford is also offering 3 different engine options and they are the 2L EcoBoost 4-cylinder, 2.7L EcoBoost V6 and the 3.5L V6 motors. Regardless of the choice, the Edge will be driven on an automatic gearbox.
With that being said, it is no wonder why the all-new Ford Edge is creating a big buzz in the automotive industry. The SUV is simply perfect and also stylish at the same time.
