Bethesda can remain secretive on Fallout 4 all they want but it won’t change the fact that the game’s debut is imminent. Even without Bethesda, fans manage to get updated on the status of Fallout 4 through the leaks and rumours surrounding the highly anticipated title.
Unfortunately, however, the latest rumour seems to have broken the fans’ heart. In detail, the word is that Fallout 4 has been cancelled from production and it won’t be getting released at all. This is because of Bethesda inability to develop Fallout 4 like how they please.
Apparently, the game developer wanted to turn Fallout 4 into an MMORPG title but instead, they have found their move being hindered by Fallout’s original creator, Interplay Entertainment. Bethesda is clearly not happy by this since they have already acquired full rights for the entire Fallout series.
With Bethesda growing frustrated, the game developer has decided to drop Fallout 4’s development once and for all. In other words, the Fallout series has reached its end with Fallout New Vegas.
Then again, this is based on rumours and is best taken with a pinch of salt. After all, the Fallout brand is one of the most profitable franchises in the world and it is difficult to see Bethesda dropping Fallout that easily.
