Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls 6 are two future AAA titles that will get released by Bethesda. If there is a release sequence practiced by the game developer, then there is no doubt that Fallout 4 will come ahead of Elder Scrolls 6.
Fans of the Fallout series have been waiting for so long already to see Fallout 4 making its debut but even today, there has yet to be any announcement on the game by Bethesda. Instead, the game developer went out to tease on Elder Scrolls 6.
Bethesda blatantly revealed that Elder Scrolls 6 will be set in Argonia and despite the region’s small landmass, the game is said to be larger than Elder Scrolls 5, Skyrim. The teases clearly hurt the Fallout fans. Heck, even the Elder Scrolls fans do not feel right about it.
If Elder Scrolls 6 does get released ahead of Fallout 4, then it is obvious that the move is business driven. After all, the Elder Scrolls franchise has made tons more profits than the Fallout franchise.
On the other hand, it could also be down to Bethesda’s subliminal rivalry with Bioware. With the latter already launched Dragon Age Inquisition, Bethesda aims to challenge it with Elder Scrolls 6. If Bioware launches Mass Effect 4, then there is no doubt that Bethesda will announce on Fallout 4.
Of course, it is still too early to confirm on whether Fallout 4 will get released after Elder Scrolls 6 make its debut. If the rivalry theory is right, then Fallout fans should start hoping for Bioware to launch Mass Effect 4 right away.
