Half Life fans have already gone through a decade-long wait and there is still no word on Half Life 3 from Valve. The game developer has remained secretive for so long already and fans believe that this is due Valve’s huge focus on managing their PC platform, Steam.
Well, it seems that the fans are right and this is evident after a leak on Half Life 3 was spotted at Steam. The software was just updated yesterday and it saw the addition of many new apps. However, it was the App 323900 that created a huge buzz as it came with Half Life 3’s logo.
For the fans, this is the biggest leak on Half Life 3 ever as it came from Valve itself. While the leak has already been corrected by the game developer, it simply confirms that Half Life 3 is in the works.
In conjunction to that, new rumours have appeared earlier today and they suggest that Half Life 3 will get announced at the upcoming International 5 event. Of course, the rumours are best taken with a pinch of salt but with the huge buzz going on, it may just come true.
