Half Life 3 has been a subject of a mystery for more than a decade already and there is still no word on the development status of the game. It seems that the Half Life community too are running out of ideas on how to get Valve to shed some light on Half Life 3.
At the moment, the fans have been flooding the forums with their conspiracy theory for the highly anticipated sequel. Apparently, the fans believe that if they are spot on with a conspiracy theory, Valve will then publically confirm on it and thus, shed more light on Half Life 3.
This might sound ridiculous to everyone else but for Half Life fans, it is a possibility and is worth a shot. One fan pointed out that they are not ruling out conspiracy theory because of Valve, which has a funny way to announce a pre-released title.
In detail, the fan shared that Valve had just announced Portal 2 but the confirmation was made after a player discovered an Easter egg for the future sequel in an ARG title. The player’s discovery then got Valve to confirm on Portal 2.
If the same pattern is to be applied on Half Life 3, then the right conspiracy theory can get Valve to finally confirm on the game. Of course, Half Life fans have got nothing to lose as they have waited more than a decade for Half Life 3.
