In a matter of months from now, Ford will be unleashing a new generation of F-150 and this upcoming pickup truck is going to start on a new trend in the automotive market. For those who are clueless on this, the F-150 will feature a full aluminium body.
Now, Ford has returned to the spotlight to brag on their new production facility for the F-150 which has changed the way vehicles are produced. The American carmaker revealed that the new method of production makes the facility quieter, safer and cleaner in every way.
Ford added that they have hired about 500 new robots to produce the F-150 and they are all equipped with laser welding and suction cups technology. Each and every robot are basically noiseless with their work.
With the new robots, employees can now work in a closer proximity with the machines. Furthermore, the noise-free working environment makes it more peaceful for the employees. This can only mean well for Ford as a healthy set of workers ensures that quality is at its peak.
Of course, the next-gen F-150 is still pending to make its debut so we can’t judge it yet. However, by the sound of things, it seems that the F-150 are going to make life difficult for the Chevrolet Colorado.
