Both the latest WRX STI and the Porsche Cayman were the highlights of last year and now, the two vehicles have found each other on the race track competing in a standing quarter mile course.
This is surprising as both the WRX STI and the Porsche Cayman are two very different vehicles. The former is basically a sports sedan that comes with an affordable price tag of $38,190 while the latter is a luxurious roadster that retails at $70,160.
In detail, the WRX STI is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged F4 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This allows it to generate 305hp and 290lb-fts of torque.
The Cayman, on the other hand, runs on the 2.7L F6 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission which generates 275hp and 213lb-ft of torque.
