There is a big mystery surrounding the development status of Fallout 4 and it doesn’t help with Bethesda being all secretive about the highly anticipated title. While Fallout 4’s debut is inevitable, nobody knows on why it is taking Bethesda so long to announce it.
That is until today when an industry insider tipped that the long wait is due to the creation of an online feature for Fallout 4. With most games today coming with a multiplayer online mode, Bethesda wishes to pick up the trend and offer it on Fallout 4.
For the Fallout fans, most of them have made it clear that they would hate it if multiplayer is forced in the Fallout series. Then again, fans shouldn’t be worried by this since Fallout 4’s MMORPG feature will be in a different game mode that has nothing to do with the single player plot.
While no details were shared by the insider, Fallout fans can expect it to be like the online mode in GTA 5 and Dragon Age Inquisition. Of course, the insider’s statement is pending for confirmation by Bethesda so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt regardless of how certain it may sound.
