The Motorola Moto G is one of the most popular mid-tier smartphones from last year as the device came out with a decent spec sheet and a super affordable price tag. However, Moto G users fear that the low-end smartphone won’t be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Well, Moto G users can start getting over their fears as Motorola has come out to confirm that the smartphone will be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Motorola was kind enough to share that the Moto G meets the minimum requirement for the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Moto G is powered by the Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and since Motorola claims that the rig is fine with the Lollipop, there is no need to worry about anything anymore.
Then again, nobody has a clue on when the Android 5.0 Lollipop will be making its entry on the Motorola Moto G. The tech manufacturer failed to reveal on any specific dates but Moto G users can expect the update to arrive in February next month.
