Gamers enjoying Battlefield 4 could soon be able to get more from the game with a multi-player feature called Platoons. Dice have invited those interested to join them in testing of this new feature. They said “We want to give early access to a smaller group of players to test certain parts of the system before a full rollout and get some even earlier feedback.”
Recently the thread was updated and DICE said that volunteers had already signed up. However they did give out assurance that small group access wouldn’t be for long and then it would become available for other people.
The player appreciation month for Battlefield 4 is set to end in February and the last batch of the Shortcut Kits has rolled out.
The kits meant that gamers could unlock weapons in the base game of Battlefield 4 and for a limited time they were given free. Premium members of Battlefield 4 will get two special Kits along with the two others that are available to all gamers.
The first kit came with hand guns and premium members got DMRs. From 25 Feb to 4 March, the kits will contain grenades and anyone who is a premium member can look forward to receiving shotguns.
Over at the Battlefield Blog forums it tells gamers of three ways to get the Shortcut Kits, this is dependent on the type of player. Those on the consoles can get them through the in-game store by finding the shortcut kit banner and then downloading. Owners of the PC and anyone with premium memberships need to log in to the Battlelog.
Regular gamers should head to the store and locate the Shortcut Kit and download through Origin. Premiums members will have to use the News Section to find the Shortcut Giveaway and then choose Premium Giveaway and get the Kit.
Microsoft has reduced the price of Call of Duty: Ghosts Digital Hardened Edition, which gamers can pick up for $100 instead of $120.
This means that the pack is now even more attractive than it was before, it comes with the game and in-game bonuses. There is the Season Pass which allows access to the four DLC Map Packs for multi-player gaming, the Team Leader xontent which comes with a special character head, weapon, camo, reticle, player card, patch and background. The in-game item pack means that players can wear a special in game patch along with the Ghosts Insignia Pack.
