Based on what the Audi Q7 has to offer, it does feel like the Audi Q7 has what it takes to take on the Volvo XC90 but that is if we do not take into considering the exterior designs of the models.
When compared side by side, it is obvious that the Volvo XC90 is the most appealing model. A lot of people were not a fan of the boxy and boring design the Audi Q7 has to offer but we do like some of the upgrades that Audi gave the Q7.
The 2016 Audi Q7 will be coming in with a lighter body thanks to the MLB platform, the Audi Q7 now weighs 716pounds less. Under the hood of the Audi Q7 is a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be pushing out about 252hp and 273lb ft of torque. Other engine option includes the 3.0-liter gasoline engine and the TDI Diesel V6 engine.
There were also talks about a diesel plug-in hybrid model arriving in the future. All engine options will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission.
