Over the past decade, all the Half Life community ever did was talking about Half Life 3’s confirmation and release date. Now, the fans are taking things to a whole new level as they discusses on the possible plot for Half Life 3.
One Redditor known as VortalKombat revealed his rendition of the plot. The lad felt that Half Life 3 will start at White Forest. A short cut-scene will take place where everyone was there as Eli got buried.
The player will then have to fly to the Arctic in search for Borealis. Of course, the journey won’t be a smooth sail as you will engage some Combines. Upon arriving, the Combines have grasp control of the Borealis. However, nobody has a clue to how it works except for Judith Mossman.
Using the teleportation technology, the player and all the good guys escaped. Now, the player has to travel to Xen. There, a mini-boss fight is waiting to happen which leads to the retreat of Combine in Xen.
After much more travelling, the G Man pops up and claims that the player’s contract is up which upsets the Vortigaunts. The player tried to evade the situation and stumbled upon Adrian Shepard who then wakes up. Both the player and Shepard were handling things until the latter blacked out. What becomes of Shepard remains a mystery.
Other fans in the thread loved this rendition. However, some fans pointed out that it is heavily influenced by Ricochet 2. Nevertheless, the fans agree that Adrian Shepard needs to be addressed by Valve.
Aside from all that, there are many more fan-made plot for Half Life 3. While it all sounds great, the fans are still anxious for the game. After all, Valve has yet to confirm its development as the fans wait on.
