Volvo will be giving the Volvo XC90 a few upgrade although you probably won’t notice it since they will be upgrading the software of the Volvo XC90.
According to Volvo, the Volvo XC90 will be receiving a new software update that will add in the Apple CarPlay support for the Volvo XC90. Besides getting to use the Apple Carplay system, Volvo XC90 owners will also be able to use third party apps on their XC90 like BeatsMusic, Stitcher and Spotify. The update will also add in the On Call remote function.
Volvo will also be upgraded the Voice control feature on the Volvo XC90 so that it will be more responsive now. The sat-nav system will also be upgraded.
The new software update will cost £300 for the new model. T8 Hybrid owners will be able to get the software for only £250. Existing owners will need to drive their cars to the dealers to install the upgrades.
