While Toyota and Chevrolet were fighting to outperform each other, it looks like Nissan manages to slip past with their Nissan Frontier to become one of the best-selling trucks in the market.
The 2016 Nissan Frontier was given a few upgrades that included a new range of exterior color options as well as features. It was given the top spot in the J.D Power 2016 US Initial Quality Study beating models like the Chevrolet Colorado and Toyota Tacoma.
It has been reported that the Nissan Frontier sales increased by a whopping 84% when compared with their sales number in June 2015.
The Nissan Frontier will be coming in with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine will be offering about 152hp and 171lb ft of torque and will return about 19mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway.
The base model will retail for $27,425.
