It looks like we might be getting the Volkswagen Tiguan long-wheelbase model after all but the people here in the US might not be too interested when they see how the model will look like when it arrives.
Just after the Volkswagen Tiguan went on sale in Europe, spies manage to capture the long-wheelbase version of the Volkswagen Tiguan in China. It is believed that this model will also be manufactured at Volkswagen’s Mexican plant for the global market including the US.
Not only did they stretch out the Volkswagen Tiguan but they also made some changes to the front. While we happy that they are trying to spice things up, the modified design does not seem to be sitting well with the consumers here in the US as many of them have come forward to say that they would rather have the European version.
It is believed that the LWB Volkswagen Tiguan will be coming to the US as a 2017 model or a 2018 model.
