Things started out great for the game Dead Island but after a few change of hands, things got a little too messy and we all know that when things get messy, chances are the game might end up getting axed and some fans believe that that could be happening to the Dead Island 2.
After the released of the Dead Island: Definitive Collection, the developers of the franchise reveal that they will be working on a sequel to the game called Dead Island 2. However, the game was pushed back a few times after that.
The last we heard, the game, Dead Island 2 was removed from Steam. Not only was the game taken down but the also removed all the tags related to the game. This had led many to believe that the game might have gotten canceled.
We still do not know what is going on with the franchise but you can still kill off some time with the Dead Island: Definitive Collection while we wait for more news about the sequel.
