The rumours have gone rife in suggesting that Ford will be creating the next-generation Bronco as part of their MY2016 line-up. When analysing the rumours closely, it could be that they are referring to the Ford Troller.
Earlier this year, Ford launched the T4 Troller over at South America and it surprised the automotive industry. This is because of the fact that the Troller came out with a lot of characteristics from the old legend, Ford Bronco.
Now, the word is that Ford is going to produce the Troller for the American market and tweak it more to be like the Bronco. The Troller is also said to be developed by Ford’s SVT team, which could imply it to be the Bronco’s revival.
When the Troller gets released, it will run on either a 3.5L EcoBoost or a 4.5L diesel engine. There will also be two different gearbox options coming with the Troller and they are the 6-speed ZF-6 manual gearbox and the 6-speed 6R140 automatic transmission.
The icing on the cake is with the Troller’s design. In detail, the grille on the 2-seater pickup truck is going to be coated in chrome and will come with layers of horizontal chrome bars attached to it. Ford might not admit it but clearly, the Troller is the reincarnated Bronco.
The latter was a great vehicle from the mid-90s but was discontinued at the start of the second millennium. Now, the Bronco will look to make its return but will be referred to as the Ford Troller instead.
