Details have emerged from Samsung about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo phablet. The phablet was confirmed through Samsung Poland and it has been released in Indonesia. At the moment it is unknown when we can expect to see it arrive in the US, however it is thought that it could be this month.
Samsung Poland said that the phablet comes in two variations. There is an LTE model with the name of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+, and there is a 3G variant. The press at Samsung Poland said that the distribution of the phablet would begin in February and the phablet will be offered in white, black and green.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will have the S Pen and while the variants have many of the same features, the 3G version will have the 1.6GHz quad core processor, while the LTE version will have the hexa-core processor which is made up of two 1.7GHz Cortex A15 and four 1.3GHz quad core Cortex A7 processors. Samsung said it will run on Jelly Bean 4.3, there are no details about the KitKat 4.4 update at the moment.
It has been said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will have a display of 5.5 inches, which is HD and has 1280 x 720 resolution of Super AMOLED. It will feature 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, a battery of 2100mAh and it can be expanded to 64GB thanks to microSD. The phablet is said to have a camera on the back of 8MP and this has LED flash and BSI sensor. The front camera is 2MP with BSI sensor. Connectivity options include 3G, NFC, infrared, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and GLONASS.
The device will have app that include Samsung ChatON, Screen Mirroring, Samsung Link, S Health, S Voice, Smart Scroll, Air View and S Translator. The S Pen has the Easy Clip feature along with Air Command and supports Multi-Window.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will have all the typical Google Apps and measures 148.4×77.4×8.6mm with a weight of 162.5 grams.
