We do not know what Microsoft has planned for the smartphone market in the future. What we know is that their Windows 10 powered Lumia did not do as well as they thought it would.
Some believe that their next move will be to come out with a new Microsoft Surface smartphone. With the kind of success they had with the tablet, transforming it into a smartphone might work for them as well.
The concept seen here is the Microsoft Surface Phone Concept revision 3 created by artist Jonas Daehnert. The concept design was created based on a previous concept by the same artist.
The biggest difference here is the camera. The artist decided to give it a detachable camera so that the users can upgrade it whenever they want. We do like the idea of a detachable camera.
