Rumours have surfaced suggesting that Bethesda is discarding the Fallout franchise once and for all. No, it is not because of Fallout fans rushing the game developer to produce Fallout 4. Instead, the word is that Bethesda has failed to turn the highly anticipated title into an MMORPG.
This is something Bethesda wishes to do with Fallout 4 but has failed due to the resistance offered by Fallout’s original creator, Interplay Entertainment. Bethesda is said to be frustrated by the issues they face when attempting to turn the franchise into an MMORPG and decide to discard Fallout 4 once and for all.
Of course, this allegation is based on rumours and it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. Fallout is one of the bestselling series in gaming history which makes it impossible for Bethesda to drop it easily. After all, the game developer is more of a profit hunter and they wouldn’t want to miss the bags of papers that come with Fallout 4.
As for the fans, some of them discussed about the rumour and wasn’t humoured by it. They simply dislike the idea for Fallout 4 to be an MMORPG title.
