A video of the latest Subaru WRX STI, racing with the Porsche Cayman, has gone viral online and it is truly an interesting watch. The standing quarter-mile race was so intense that it left most viewers at the edge of their seats when watching the short clip.
Specs-wise, the Subaru WRX STI runs on a 2.5L turbocharged F4 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and it drives on the AWD system. In figures, the Subaru WRX STI develops 305hp and 290lbs-ft of torque.
Then there is the Porsche Cayman. The sports car runs on a 2.7L F6 engine that is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. In figures, the Cayman develops 275hp and 213ft-lbs of torque. While it might not be as great as the WRX STI, it is worth considering the fact that the Cayman weighs at only 3059lbs.
For those that have yet to view the race, you can check out the video above. Do keep in mind that the WRX STI retails at $38,190, which is almost half the price of the Cayman when watching the minute-and-a-half video.
