We have seen history repeat itself so many times that we did not dare hope that the Subaru Impreza would be different. We all know that Subaru tends to bring out some of the most amazing concepts but the production model will end up straying very far from the concept.
Subaru showed off the Subaru Impreza 5-Door concept at the New York Auto Show and did announce that the production model will be based on the concept. Now that we have seen what the production model looked like, do you think they strayed this time?
The new 2017 Subaru Impreza will be running on a 2.0 liter flat four engine that will be delivering about 148hp to 152hp. The engine will be mated to a Lineartronic CVT transmission that will be mated to a seven-speed manual mode.
Customers that opt for the top Limited trim will be given an eight-inch touchscreen, 17inch wheels, leather upholstery, push start button, Harmon/Kardon stereo and more.
