Honda is still keeping the Honda Civic Hatchback away from us but what they did show us what the Honda Civic Hatchback Concept.
The concept was shown at the New York Auto Show earlier this year and while Honda insists on calling it a concept, chances are, the production model will end up coming in looking very close to what we are seeing on the concept.
Under the hood of the Honda Civic Hatchback Concept is a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 174hp. The engine will also come mated to a six-speed manual transmission although a CVT will most likely be offered as well.
It is estimated that the Honda Civic Hatchback will return about 42mpg on the highway when it is release. All we need now is for Honda to release the hatchback so that we can see it was worth the wait.
