The Porsche Panamera might be one of the carmaker’s success stories but even so, none can deny that it is an overall ugly car to begin with. Also, the Panamera failed to come in a variety like how it was for its other siblings.
Well, this is about to change when the Panamera gets refreshed next year. Porsche’s head of research and development, Wolfgang Hatz, announced earlier today that the company has prepared a lot of derivatives for the upcoming Panamera. Hatz added that there will also be a Sport Turismo trim coming.
Furthermore, it is confirmed that this is made possible thanks to the new MSB platform which builts the Panamera base. Hatz concluded by further promoting the Sport Turismo Panamera and claims it to be better than the unwanted four-door convertible segment.
On the downside of things, Hatz failed to share on the sort of performance figures coming with the Panamera ST. What he did share is a teaser video of the vehicle and it truly carries a lot of promises to be a super car that will create a benchmark in the luxury automotive industry.
