While both the Toyota Prius and Chevrolet Volt are considered some of the best green cars in the market, it looks like there might be one clear winner between the two. Who do you think it is?
Under the hood of the Toyota Prius is a 4 cylinder hybrid engine that will return about 54mpg in the city and 50mpg. As impressive as that is, that is not the best that the Prius can do. The Prius Eco model is able to return about 58mpg in the city and 53mpg on the highway.
So what about the Chevrolet Volt? Well, the Chevrolet Volt will be able to return about 53miles on average but that is on electric alone. With the gasoline engine, the Chevrolet Volt will be able to return close to 106mpg.
Not only does the Volt appears to be the greener model but we also think that it comes with a much better exterior design compared to the Prius.
