Honda has launched the all-new CR-V and it is undoubtedly an upgrade from its predecessor. At a glance, the SUV seems to have its design inspired by its sibling, the HR-V. Perhaps, Honda finally acknowledged the previous CR-V’s ugliness and made some corrections to it.
In short, the new CR-V offers a great design language that is sporty and stylish. The SUV also offers better performance as it is now powered by the 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a CVT transmission.
Despite the large engine capacity, the CR-V returns an average fuel consumption of 28mpg. This is impressive and unsurprising from Honda as they’ve never failed to offer great fuel efficiency with their vehicles.
In addition to that, the C-RV is completed with plenty of new and improved features like the power liftgate along with the memory seat for the driver. There is also the touring trim that adds in 18 inch wheels along with tires.
Safety features, on the other hand, includes lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keeping and adaptive cruise control.
Then again, the many tech upgrades will surely make the CR-V duller than ever. The fact that everything is automated simply kills the thrill of driving, thus making the Honda CR-V one of the most boring cars to drive right now.
