The latest Honda Accord has arrived and it is better and pricier than its predecessors. There isn’t anything wrong with the Accord as it comes with a solid and bold structure. The Japanese saloon also has its own special offerings.
Among them is that rugged yet smooth performance. The Accord is able to take on corners with aggression. However, the steering calls it quit at times, thus confirming that the Accord can’t go to the extreme in performance.
The best buy would be with the Honda Accord that is powered by a 2.2L i-DTEC, which generates 180hp and 280lb-fts of torque. This ensures acceleration to 62mph from standstill in just 8.8 seconds. Also, there is a top speed of 136mph at play.
On the downside of things, the Accord we tested is not quite in the affordable bracket. The saloon retails at a whopping £30,050. The good news is that consumers will get more savings in the long run since the Accord has a low fuel consumption rate of 50mpg.
