If Jaguar wants the Jaguar F-Type to stay on the top, they will have to make sure that whatever upgrades they do to the 2018 model will be significant enough so that people will actually take notice.
The 2018 Jaguar F-Type will be powered by a 3.0 liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 375hp. There is also a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine that will be delivering about 543hp. The SVR model will come with the same supercharged engine but on that model, it will be pushing out 572hp.
On the outside, it is believed that the Jaguar F-Type will be getting and upgraded grille design. The headlights will be upgraded as well.
We do not know when Jaguar will be taking the covers off the Jaguar F-Type but new spy shots of the Jaguar F-Type indicates that the upcoming 2018 model is the one their rivals will have to worry about.
