Gamestop is one of America’s leading games and technology retailer. The company has confirmed that it will be participating in the upcoming Black Friday. On the downside of things, Gamestop failed to share on the promotions happening on the special day.
If previous Gamestop Black Fridays are to be referred to, here is what consumers can expect coming in this year’s happening.
The most obvious thing that will go on a massive sale is the Microsoft Xbox Live and Sony PS Plus subscription charges. This is something that was offered consistently every year and is expected to return in this year’s Black Friday.
As for the Xbox One, Gamestop will surely slash the price tag of the new gaming console. Furthermore, buyers can expect to enjoy bonus credit when purchasing the Xbox One. Last year, it was 30% bonus credit. Gamers can expect the figures to increase.
The Sony PS4, on the other hand, will be retailing at $399 and it will come with a physical copy of the newly-released GTA 5and a digital copy of The Last of Us. This was already confirmed in an announcement by Sony. Despite that fact, Gamestop will look to sell refurbished PS4 for a cheaper price of $329.
Consoles aside, there are the games for consumers to look forward to. Last year saw every game selling with a $10 discount. Sports titles will be cheaper with an average price of $39.99. Shoppers can look forward to a similar offering at the upcoming Black Friday.
