There is no disputing the fact that Fallout 4 is one of the most anticipated games around but Bethesda has yet to share any official information on the game’s development. I’m a Fallout 4 fan myself and can’t wait to play the game, but in reality, there is no reason to be crazy about it.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the franchise and everything that it stands for but the problem here is not Fallout 4. It is Bethesda. The game developer is nothing more than a corporate sell out with one goal in its mind and that is to bag profits. As such, I’m already prepared to see a poorly developed Fallout 4 coming in the future and I suggest other fans should do the same.
The signs are already clear back in Fallout 3. The game might have won many awards but that is due to its popularity, not the gameplay. The ideas poured into Fallout 3 were all brilliant but what I don’t understand is how the game ended up as something mediocre.
In detail, the plot has been dull; there are some issues with the game play and many more. It seems that Bethesda did a pretty poor job in the execution of the game, unlike how it was when Fallout 3 was on the drawing board. This is obviously that attitude where the game developer creates a game for the sake of creating it and milk as much profits as possible from the title’s popularity.
It wasn’t quite the case for Fallout New Vegas since the title was developed by a third-party developer. Regardless, I fear that the issue might persist in Fallout 4. As such, fans should not be too obsessed with the upcoming title or risk facing the biggest disappointment in their life. All I can hope is for Bethesda to surprise me and create something overwhelmingly great with Fallout 4.
