Following the release of the iPhone 6, Apple has been busy preparing the launch of their very first wearable, the Apple Watch. The device has already been unveiled but it is still an unfinished product. That was the case until today, when Apple shared more information on the Apple Watch.
Aside from the various health functions that are coming with the device, the Apple Watch will come in two different sizes with different resolutions. The first is the 38mm model which runs at 272 x 340p and the second are the 42mm model which offers a resolution of 312 x 390.
This is pretty great news as it made the Apple Watch sounds normal. Other popular smartwatches like the Zen Watch runs at 320 x 320p resolution on its 41.4mm screen. Then there is the slightly bigger LG G Watch which has a resolution of 280 x280p. Clearly, the Apple Watch is not better but it is good to know that it is within the same bracket.
On another note, Apple revealed that the Apple Watch is to come with WatchKit. Developers were informed earlier that this particular feature is basically the retina for the Apple Watch. It behaves and functions exactly like the retina display on the iPhones and iPads.
