The Honda CR-V and the Ford Escape are both some of the best SUV in the market but if there can only be one winner, who will it be?
The Honda CR-V will be coming in with a 2.4 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 185hp and 181lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a CVT and will be returning about 26mpg in the city and 33mpg on the highway. The CR-V will also come with safety features like stability control, engine immobilizer, emergency braking assist and more.
The Ford Escape, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.5 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 168hp and 170lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission and will be delivering about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg in the highway. The Escape will also come with safety features like tire pressure monitoring, stability control, emergency braking assist and more.
The Honda CR-V base model will retail for $28,195 while the Ford Escape will retail for $29,525.
