The Ford Focus RS will be coming in with a 2.0 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 350hp and 350lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Subaru WRX STi will come running on a 3.05hp engine with 290lb ft of torque and will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
The Ford Focus RS will return about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway while the Subaru WRX STi will return about 17mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway.
The Focus RS will only need 4.6 seconds to go from 0-60 with a top speed of 165mph while the WRX STi will need 3.7seconds and has a top speed of 159mph. The base Focus RS model will retail for $36,605 while the WRX STi will retail for $35,490.
