Nissan was already having a hard time trying to catch up to the Chevrolet Volt and the new upgrade only made it worst for them.
According to the latest report, Chevrolet managed to sell about 1983units in April brings the total number up to 5970units in the first four months of 2016 alone. While things are looking good on the side of the Volt, the Nissan Leaf is a whole other story.
Nissan managed to sell about 787units of the Nissan Leaf in April. To put things into perspective, Nissan manages to sell an impressive 5628units of the Nissan Leaf last year.
One of the reasons why people seems to be choosing the Volt over the Leaf is because Nissan does not seem to interested in giving the Leaf a major upgrade. There were some updates here and there but overall, the Nissan Leaf is starting to feel a little old.
