[ALERT] 2015 Chevy Colorado No Longer For Sale

Just last week, Chevrolet, together with parent company GMC launched the all-new Colorado and Canyon pickup trucks. Both vehicles are identical to each other and they are the most talked about trucks ever since they made their debut.

Unfortunately, the hype for the Colorado and the Canyon died instantaneously after GMC recalled the vehicle over a faulty programming with the airbags on the pickup trucks. This is surprising as the Colorado and the Canyon are very fresh and new in the automotive market.

It is revealed that a total of 2,432 vehicles are affected by the issue but have not been sold to the consumers. On the other hand, 138 vehicles are currently in customer’s possession.

The good news is that each and every owner of the Colorado and the Canyon are already notified of the issue. Furthermore, GM claims that the fix is a simple update to the trucks’ system that only consumes about 45 minutes and comes with no charge at all.

As of this moment, there has yet to be any fatality caused by this mishap. Regardless, it is important for owners of the trucks to abide by the recall. Failing to do so might see the airbags not deploying during a crash.
