The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has already been released and it is one hell of a powerful phablet, like how we have been tipping it to be. Surprisingly, Samsung offered something better last week in the name of the Note Edge. Today, we shall identify the difference between both super-phones.
The first major difference is the display. The Note 4 comes with the same 5.7-inch measurement, like its predecessor. The Note Edge, on the other hand, measures at 5.6-inch. However, this excludes the secondary screen which runs on the side of the device. The latter has a width of 140 pixels and it acts as the frame of the first screen.
Since both the Note 4 and the Note Edge runs on the same resolution, the smaller screen on the latter means that it is sharper than the former. The Note 4 has a pixel density of 515ppi while the Edge has a pixel density of 525ppi.
Under the casing, both the Note 4 and the Note Edge are basically identical to each other. With that being said, it seems that the only difference here is with the Edge’s secondary curved screen. The special feature basically stores the user’s shortcuts and acts like the notification panel. It shows the time, weather, alarm and also any incoming calls or messages.
Of course, so much has already been revealed about the Edge even though the smartphone is not released yet. Well, it won’t be long now as Samsung has confirmed that the Edge will be debuting in November 14 next week.
