Nothing Chevrolet do will be enough if they can’t meet the demand of their customers and the release of the Chevrolet Colorado Diesel proves that.
Truck fans were overjoyed but Chevrolet announces that they will be offering a diesel-powered model. Chevrolet had to delay the diesel model for a few month due to all the diesel scandal happening at that time and many said that that was the reason why the Chevrolet Colorado was trailing behind the Toyota Tacoma.
If that was the case, the numbers should start to look a little better when the Chevrolet Colorado Diesel was release but it did not. That was because the diesel engine was never the problem.
The problem was the fact that Chevrolet can’t seem to produce the Colorado fast enough to meet the demand of their customers. They have already announced that they will be upgrading a second plant to increase the production rate of the Colorado but we will have to see if that works.
