Elder Scrolls Online is about to get released and MMO lovers can’t wait to get their hands on it. The game is expected to offer a much bigger world of gaming where players can take on the game with friends, strangers or even alone.
As every second passes by, we get closer to ESO’s release but have yet to identify the price of this much anticipated title. The game developer has yet to reveal the price which leaves many fans fearing they can’t afford the game.
Every product has a price scope which follows the market rules. It is impossible to put in a huge price tag for a game since most players are kids. The best way to predict the price is to look at Elder Scrolls Online’s rivals.
The current market for MMOs is dominated by World of Warcraft. The game has a subscription fee of about $15 monthly and every DLC are chargeable. On top of that, players have to purchase the complete WoW package to get started.
Other MMOs that can be an example is Star Wars The Old Republic. Players have to fork out $35 for the game before agreeing to a subscription fee of about $11 monthly.
The prices between the two are almost the same. It is safe to assume that Elder Scrolls Online will be around that figure as well. Since WoW has been dominating the market, ESO might come in cheaper to appeal the new players.
