It has been months now since Rockstar released GTA 5 to both the Xbox 360 and PS3. The game had created a new sales record and have won many awards ever since. While the console GTA community is dancing in satisfaction and happiness, the PC fans are left waiting.
That wait is about to come to an end. Online internet retailer giant, Amazon, has begun taking in pre-orders for the game. It is believed that the PC GTA 5 will be released somewhere towards the end of February to mid-March.
There appears to be a setback though. Based on the ad on Amazon, GTA 5 won’t be compatible with Windows 8. The 2013 game of the year can only run on Windows XP, Vista and 7. PC gamers that run on Windows 8 should probably start installing Windows 7 on their machines.
However, this is still a pre-order. The information given is subject to confirmation which we will know very soon.
All in all, the effort by the PC gamers in signing the e-Petition is paying off. A PC GTA 5 is well on the way and just like previous GTA releases, the PC is last to receive.
