Earlier today, spy shot of the upcoming Porsche 911 Targa facelift was shared on the internet and to our surprise, the vehicle is not wrapped in camouflage. So here are the things we learned when viewing the vehicle.
For starters, the 911 Targa facelift comes with subtle changes which include soft nip & tuck to the front and rear bumpers as well as the LED headlights. Also, the front air intakes are now bigger. Over at the rear section, there are centrally-positioned exhaust pipes along with a much wider third brake light and revised taillights.
Under the hood, the 911 Targa facelift will be offered with a variety of turbocharged engines that will work with the AWD system. In other words, the upcoming model won’t be featuring the 350 bhp six-cylinder 3.4-liter from the Targa 4.
Of course, things could have been much better if Porsche takes more inspiration from the Carrera GT or the 918 Spyder. The car simply looks soft when compared to rivals like AMG GT, F Type and R8. Regardless, we can look forward to learn more about the facelift next year when it gets released.
