Honda’s luxury arm, Acura, announced earlier today that they will be producing a new vehicle that will directly replace the Integra.
The word came from Acura’s Chief Designer, Dave Marek, who revealed that the company is developing the RSX as the ideal successor for the Integra. Dave then revealed that a performance brand like Acura needs an accessible sport car as its flagship vehicle.
The RSX is tipped to be arriving in 2017 and it will be the game changer for Acura. After all, things have been fluctuating for the Japanese carmaker and the RSX is the door of hope that can lead Acura back again into its glory days.
On the downside of things, Marek failed to go into details on his idea for the RSX. Regardless, we can expect more information to come together with a concept model in the coming years.
