Project CARS Delayed Until 2015 Confirmed, No Wii U Mentioned

Game developer Slightly Mad Studio yesterday announced that Project CARS has been delayed until 20 March 2015. The highly anticipated racing game was initially planned for a release in Q4 this year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC but an issue prevented it from happening.

On the downside of things, Slightly Mad Studio didn’t went into detail on what the problem was. All that the game developer said is that they are wishing for more time to fix any known bugs and also polishing the game to ensure it is ready for launching.

Furthermore, the company’s head, Ian Bell, revealed that that the delay will allow Project CARS to enjoy the greatest chance of success and visibility. In other words, Project CARS wishes for the spotlight to be on it so it cannot get released at a period where many great games are coming out as well.

Ian Bell pleaded for the fans to tolerate the delay and ensured them the ultimate racing video game will be offered with Project CARS. On another note, Ian Bell failed to mention Wii U on the platforms that will be receiving the game.
