Just not too long ago, nobody was sure if Jeep was really going to release a Hellcat-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee and now, new reports suggest that we are just a year away from seeing the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat on the road.
Of course, the powerful model will not be called the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat as Jeep has already made it clear that Hellcat will not be its name. Trackhawk will most like be the badge it will be wearing when it arrives next year.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat will be powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine. The same engine delivered about 707hp when it was fitted under the hood of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat so it is assumed that it would offer the same on the Grand Cherokee as well.
Mike Manley mentioned at the New York Auto Show that the powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee will be appearing around July next year.
