The 2016 Mazda CX-9 will be upgraded so that it will be able to offer more. More mileage that is. New test results are now showing that the 2016 Mazda CX-9 will come with a better fuel economy compared to the previous model but how much better?
The official number from EPA has not been released yet but NRCan did test the Mazda CX-9 and reported that the 2016 Mazda CX-9 now has 35% better fuel economy than the previous model. The 2016 model will be running on a four-cylinder turbo engine.
Of course, we will still have to wait for the official EPA number to know how much the Mazda CX-9 will be able to return now. The 2016 Mazda CX-9 will be coming in to compete with models like the Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Highlander. Coming in with an improve fuel economy will only help make things easier for them.
