We all know that Commander Shepard got axed from the franchise. This would mean that Mass Effect 4 will have a fresh storyline centred on a new protagonist. Everything about the game will be new thus calling it Mass Effect 4 can be confusing.
Despite that fact, we can all be sure that Mass Effect 4 will preserve its traditional gameplay. Bioware confirmed this when they did an announcement for the game months back.
According to GameRant, another interesting feature to lookout for is the playable races. The game developer’s executive producer, Casey Hudson, tweeted that the company will acknowledge the strong demands for more playable races from the fans.
To add in a more races, Mass Effect 4 must have a much broader storyline that is capable of handling different speeches for different races. It will be a lot of work for Bioware and there is no certainty it will be added to the game.
The hope lies on the next-gen consoles. Both the Xbox One and PS4 will be the platform for Mass Effect 4. Both consoles will have much more to offer and making a more diverse game like Mass Effect 4 will be a piece of cake. Besides, Mass Effect 4 will boast that new Frostbite engine which will open doors to new possibilities.
All in all, a great franchise like Mass Effect won’t crash and burn. Fans trust Bioware will deliver the greatest Mass Effect 4 game yet.
