T-Mobile have told us about the UnCarrier announcement which involves tablets and now they have given more news in that you can now get 200MB of free data on your tablet for life. They also mentioned tablet plans that are affordable and new tablets with $0 down. These are just some of the latest moves from T-Mobile on their UnCarrier plans.
T-Mobile said that anyone who has a tablet that is data ready and which will work on their network can now get 200MB of 4G LTE data free per month for as long as they have the tablet. This is not just for current consumers; it’s for anyone who connects a tablet to their network. For instance if you went ahead and bought a tablet that is unlocked, for instance the Nexus 7 LTE, you can get a SIM from T-Mobile and have 200MB of data and there are no strings attached to the deal. T-Mobile said that this is the same as “800 Instagram photos, more than 2,500 emails or stream 200 minutes of music.”
Anyone wanting more data can get access to offers. Voice customers are able to get unlimited data at $10 per month. Anyone wanting to boost the full speed data in 2GB instalments can add on $10 per month. Those who to pay daily can get 500MB of 4G LTE for $5. A weekly pass with come out at $10 per 1GB.
T-Mobile are also offering tablets with $0 down payment and monthly payments after this and consumers are able to trade this in for a discount when they get a new tablet. At the moment customers can get the Nexus 7 2013 LTE or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
Perhaps other companies such as Verizon and AT&T should take a leaf out of the T-Mobile book as the offer is simply awesome and it does show that T-Mobile is on the side of their customers. This is a mentality that other major carriers should have.
