Sony and Microsoft are the two biggest companies in the gaming industry. They both share a hateful relationship that it came as a shock when a rumour suggests the former attempting to purchase the Xbox brand.
The VP of Insights and Analysis for Electronic Entertainment Design and Research, Jesse Divnich shared his opinion on the rumour by writing it off as ridiculous.
The lad added that there is no way Sony can afford to purchase the Xbox business. On top of that, the Xbox is not for sale.
The huge buzz started with Adam Hartung, who criticized the Xbox brand entirely and hoped for it to rot. The failure of the Xbox One clearly affected Hartung who then felt that Microsoft is falling into the abyss.
It is unsure if Hartung has some unknown information on Microsoft or the lad is simply enraged but to see Sony purchasing the Xbox is unlikely to happen.
